What Dog Parents Say

  • Kay

I really enjoyed the session with Grace and how practical it was on terms of showing me how to continue the training moving forward with our rescue pupper. Grace also provided super detailed notes after the session and checked in with us to see how we were progressing. Would really recommend!

Grace has been helping me with Luna (1 year Aussie X Border Collie). Grace has been so supportive, working to understand Luna’s behaviour and offering training techniques and notes that have been so helpful and tailored to our pup and our home. From reacting to the doorbell to barking at bikes, she’s helped shift Luna’s behaviours. Love her positive reinforcement approach and that you feel like you have an ally with your training. Highly recommend

Grace worked wonders with our fur baby, Ronny. He's a 1.5 YO Amstaff, and we'd gotten in touch with various trainers and doggy day cares before we found Grace that either couldn't handle him or flat out refused to help when they saw he was a staffy!
Within a few sessions with Grace, Ronny became a pleasure to walk with, and we started to enjoy our dog again. It was such a relief, and we're so grateful! Thank you for all your wonderful help, Ronny loves you ❤

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do sessions happen?

Your first session takes place in your home so I can understand your dog’s behaviour in their everyday environment. Follow-up sessions may take place at your home, on your street or at a suitable local park, depending on your goals.

I service Melbourne’s inner north, including Preston, Reservoir, Thornbury, Northcote, Coburg, Brunswick, Fairfield, Alphington, Ivanhoe and surrounding suburbs.

What behaviours can you help with?

Private training can help with pulling on lead, jumping, recall, barking, puppy biting, toilet training, settling, handling, reactivity, fear, separation-related behaviour and general manners.

If your dog needs veterinary or specialist behaviour support, I’ll explain this and help you understand the next step.

How many sessions will we need?

Some dog-training and manners goals may only need one or two sessions. More complex concerns, including reactivity, fear or separation-related behaviour, usually benefit from ongoing support.

After your first session, I’ll recommend the most suitable next step without locking you into unnecessary sessions.

What training methods do you use?

I use positive reinforcement and practical management strategies. Training focuses on showing your dog what to do instead, without intimidation or painful equipment.

Can my family attend?

Yes. I encourage the people who regularly care for your dog to attend so everyone can use the same cues and training plan.
